  • Will there be club sessions for different abilities?
    Absolutely, we know that is is no fun for anyone if there are a huge difference in abilities, therefore, our coaches will be grading all players and putting them into the correct session for them. Of course, this does not mean this will be the session you will be in forever, we will regular regrade people if necessary and move people up or down groups.
  • Do I have to be a member?
    At Cross Court Padel you do not have to be a member to play on our courts, however, members will get discounts off of court hire, advanced booking privileges as well as many other benefits. Check out the membership options here
  • Do you just have padel courts?
    We will have 7 indoor padel courts, a onsite padel shop, a cafe/bar which will be on the mezzanine floor with viewing over the courts, a lounge area downstairs, individual bathroom pods with shower, toilet and sink in each on, separate toilets, a studio room (this may not be open form the very beginning) as well as super fast wi-fi around the club, so you could even work from the comfort of the cafe before or after a game!
  • Can I book a court for more than an hour?
    Our court bookings will be available per hour or 1hr 30 minutes.
  • What happens if you don't open?
    We have already started on site and are working as quickly as possible, If however there is any reason that we do not open, you will of course get 100% refund on any purchases.
  • How much is it to hire a court?
    Our court hire rates vary depending on peak or off-peak times but will vary from £26-40 per hour per court. As this is a doubles game, this will be £6.50-£10 per person per hour.
  • Will their be coaching available?
    Yes, we will have 2 dedicated padel coaches at the club from the start. We will be running many different coaching sessions for all abilities so if you just want to learn the game, we will have a session for you, if you are a more advanced player wanting to progress further in the sport then there will be a session perfect for you too!
  • How many players will be in each club session?
    As this is a new club, we will be trialling different sessions and number of players to try and find out what is best for everyone, so we may change things when we get feedback on the sessions, however, to start with we will be limiting this to 20 players over 4 courts.
  • I have never played before, will there be a session for me?
    Absolutely! Padel is a great fun, social sport to get into. We will have lots of different sessions suitable for beginners. We are going to be running free introduction to padel course in the first few weeks of the club opening but then there will be lots of other sessions such as a beginners session, ladies morning, coaching sessions and many other sessions so there will be something for everyone to help learn and improve this brilliant game!
  • If I sign up now, does my membership or launch offer start from now?
    No, your membership or launch offer will start from the 1st day the club is open for you to use.
  • How long will the launch offer be running?
    We plan to close our launch offer on the 30th November 2024.
  • Can non-members attend the club and coaching sessions?
    Coaching sessions will be available for members and non-members, however, members will get priority booking onto the sessions. Club sessions are a little different, these session will mainly be for members, however, if there are any spaces left 2 days before the session then non-members can join on.
  • Will there be any leagues?
    Yes, we will be running Cross Court Padel box leagues, where you will get to play against other opposition of similar levels. There will be promotions and relegation in these leagues so you will soon end up in the correct league for you.
  • When will the club be open?
    We are aiming to be open around Christmas time, however we will keep all our members and follows up to date by social media and email newsletters.
  • How does the launch offer work?
    If you buy the launch offer which is £250, this will give you £300 credit in the Playtomic app for Cross Court Padel. So with this, you get an extra 20% free. The credit will be valid for 1 year from club opening. Credit can then be used on court bookings, club sessions or coaching sessions.
  • What are the times for peak and off-peak hours?
    As it is a new club, things may change, however at least for the first 3 months the timings will be as follows: Weekdays: 7am-9am: Off-Peak - £32.00 per hour per court 9am-3pm: Super Off-Peak - £28.00 per hour per court 4-5pm: Off-Peak - £32.00 per hour per court 5-9pm: Peak - £40.00 per hour per court 9-10pm: Off-Peak - £32.00 per hour per court Weekend: 7am-9am: Off-Peak - £28 per hour per court 9am-12pm: Peak - £40 per hour per court 12pm-5pm: Off-Peak - £32 per hour per court 5pm-9pm: Super Off-Peak - £28 per hour per court
  • How long do I have to sign up for to become a member?
    To start with, we are doing a minimum sign up period of 6 months instead of a year, this will give you chance to make sure you really love it (which we know you will) before committing to a whole year. If you would like to cancel after the 6 months, just give us 1 months notice and we can cancel your membership.
  • Will there be secure cycle parking?
    Yes, we will have lots of secure cycle parking, all covered by CCTV too.
  • Why are you limiting memberships?
    We are limiting the number of members we are having in the club to make sure that our members can get court bookings. We feel that it wouldn't be fair if members signed up and then could not book a court.
  • What are your opening hours?
    We will be open: Monday-Friday: 7am-10pm Saturday: 7am-9pm Sunday & Bank Holidays: 8am-9pm
